Coronation Street Party

The nation celebrated the coronation of King Charles with street parties across the country. At this point I was 3 years into a project documenting a little street near my home called Camden Passage. Because I knew everyone I was invited to their street party and of course I took my camera.
It was something Martin Parr would have enjoyed photographing. Colourful, quirky and very British. I love how this group looks like the cast of characters from an Alan Ayckbourn stage play each in their own world.
