I was rushing to a booked viewing at the Popes Palace in Avignon, didn't expect any photography as I was running late and didn't want to miss my time slot, however ,I did have my GR3 in my hand set on snap focus and almost collided with this parrot which stopped me for a second so I grabbed the shot instinctively.

I was in Avignon for a few days and would normally have my Leica m11 with me but it was very hot and I was meeting friends to eat later so didnt fancy lugging a camera bag around with me, but glad I had the little Ricoh with me. That photo always reminds me of a great day.
